The Common Ground Health Clinic is a non-profit organization that provides free quality health care for the greater New Orleans community, and develops and provides programs to address community health care needs through collaborative partnerships.

We lost a wise, dedicated and generous neighbor, patient, friend, volunteer & staff member recently when Ed Burks passed on. Ed was our very first Front Desk Manager on staff, and we have all learned so much from his grace, strength, humor, and gentle management of our patients and staff. We hope to honor his memory and his example by our work at the clinic. We at CGHC are honored to have known him and so sorry that he had to go so soon. Rest in peace, Ed.
